These ultra-strong pliers are used for easily cutting metal wire, including hardened and tempered alloys and other extruded metals.
– They are ergonomically designed to apply maximum force, while being easy to handle
– Designed from stainless steel with an induction hardened cutting edge, the BoltShark pliers can cut up to 6mm of soft metal wire, 3.5mm of hard steel and 3mm of hardened piano wire or spring steel
– In addition to wire, Boltshark pliers will quickly and cleanly cut through 5mm nails, screws and rivets
– The included channel can hold thicker wire in place, preventing it from rolling along the cutting edge as the jaws are tightened
– Forged from high carbon steel
– Fully hardened to ~ 47HRc, with cutting edges induction hardened to ~ 64HRc
– Finished with a black anti-corrosive coating and lightly oiled
– Non-slip plastic handles with plastisol provide a good ergonomic grip

Advantages:
– Designed with a two-rivet joint that uses a combined action to provide increased cutting force with less effort
– The strongest force should be applied at the beginning of the cut, when the handles are furthest apart.
– BoltShark pliers are designed with tighter handles, allowing maximum force to be applied from the start of the cut
– Center cutting mechanisms leave a cut finish on both sides of the cut

Use:
– For precise cutting of soft wires (up to 6 mm), hard wires (up to 3.5 mm) and piano strings (up to 3 mm)
– Easily cuts parts such as screws, nails, rivets, etc. up to a thickness of 4 mm
