S5 protective boots with composite toe cap and flexible anti-perforation lamella, made of textile material.
- Inner lining: abrasion-resistant polyester;
- Material: Cold Defender PU, antibacterial, resistant to -25 °C;
- Sole: Cold Defender PU, antibacterial, resistant to -25°C;
- Insole: Metatarsal-Support, made of soft and scented polyurethane, antistatic, anatomical, perforated, covered with canvas; guarantees maximum comfort and shock absorption. Ensure thermal insulation;
- Bombeu: made of fiberglass, non-metallic, resistant to 200 J;
- Anti-perforation insert: Non-metallic APT plate - Zero Perforation;
- Extra: added material at the heels for easy removal.
The electrically insulating sole tested according to EN ISO 20344:2011, obtains a resistance of over 2000 Mohm (the minimum required by standard 20344 is 1000 Mohm).
Tested by COFRA laboratories in accordance with CAN/CSA 21 95-14 and
ASTM F2412-18 in dry state 18,000 V for 1 minute, obtain a leakage current of 0.25 mA (maximum requirement 1.00 mA).
